FAQ

How can I get more information about items I am interested in?

If you are interested in an item or items and would like more information, please e-mail us via our contact page. We will reply with detailed information and/or a photo of your item plus pricing information.

How do I place an order?

If you decide to order an item, please indicate which item(s) you are ordering plus your preferred method of payment (see below). We will need your city, state and zip code (or complete shipping information if outside the U.S.) in order to figure your shipping and handling costs. Current price guides may be useful in checking approximate values.
• Once you have placed an order, you will be given a personal order number along with detailed payment information or a Pay Pal invoice.

• We accept eCheck PayPal payments or direct payments from your PayPal balance (verified U.S. accounts only - no debit/credit cards), as well as money orders by mail.

• International money orders translated USD are required for all international orders.

• All shipping is the buyer's responsibility. We utilize Delivery Confirmation, which adds a nominal fee to the shipping cost and provides you with a tracking number for security. Most items will be shipped USPS unless otherwise requested by the buyer. Shipping costs are waived for even trades.

• You will be notified by e-mail once we have received your payment/trade item, and again when your item is shipped.

• All sales/trades are final.

What is your payment policy?

We have two ways to accept payments. Please read carefully:
1) If you live in the United States and have a verified U.S. PayPal account, we can e-mail you an invoice by which you can simply and safely pay us online with an eCheck using your checking or savings account. When you receive your Money Request, simply click "Change" or "More Funding Options" and choose eCheck. Item(s) will be shipped when payment clears (approx. 3-5 business days).

We will also accept payments directly from your PayPal balance only if you have the exact payment amount or more available in your account. This is your first available payment option.

If you do not have a PayPal account, please visit PayPal.com to get one for free. Please note that we do not accept credit or debit card payments via PayPal or by any other means.

PayPal payments may not be acceptable for very large orders, as we do have a monthly receiving limit which resets on the 17th of each month. We will inform you if this limit should in any way interfere with your order.

2) If you live outside the U.S. or if you prefer to pay by mail, Stuff ‘n’ Junque accepts money orders only. These can be acquired at many locations, including banks and some convenience stores. Foreign orders may be paid by international money order translated USD (United States Dollars).
All payments must be in U.S. dollars only. All sales/trades are final.

We ask that you do not send any credit/debit card information or personal checks. It is illegal to send cash through the mail.

Any method of fraudulent or unacceptable payment will cause a delay or complete forfeiture of your item(s).

Upon receipt of your acceptable payment and/or any trade items, we will ship your item via U.S.P.S. unless otherwise requested. You will receive a tracking confirmation number (as available) to track the delivery status of your package.

Do you ever trade items?

We may consider a trade or a partial trade, depending upon our interest in what you have to offer and item value. We are very particular about which items we will trade for. Visit our wish list for more info. on trades.

Partial trades must be paid via money order shipped with your item. Shipping and handling charges are waived for even trades.

How do you ship your items?

Items are typically shipped via U.S.P.S. (United States Postal Service) unless some other shipping method is specified by the buyer. We also occasionally utilize the UPS store. All shipping cost is the responsibility of the buyer, and is clearly indicated in your total. We choose the least expensive shipping method unless otherwise requested.

For the safety of our customers, we utilize Delivery Confirmation, which adds a nominal fee to the shipping cost and provides you with a tracking number. This service may not be available on smaller items.

All overseas orders must ship with insurance as available.

As much as possible, Stuff 'n' Junque uses recycled shipping materials in order to keep shipping costs their lowest. Occasionally, we may need to purchase special materials, such as poster tubes, in order to ship your item safely. In these cases, the cost of the materials is included in your shipping total.

Your package will include a Stuff ‘n’ Junque invoice which will give a complete line item list of your entire purchase.

While we package all product as securely as possible, Stuff ‘n’ Junque is not responsible for damage or errors caused during the shipping process.

Why do you not list more item prices on the site?

The value of collectibles can fluctuate tremendously for a variety of reasons. Because we try to sell our items at a fair price for both ourselves and the buyer, we research the item price as a request is made. This way, we can be sure that our offers are up-to-date and reasonable, making it the best possible offer for both of us.

Why not just sell on ebay or some other auction or seller site?

Occasionally we do make items available on ebay or Craig's List. You can check our current ebay listings and feedback under our screen name snjbids.

Since auction sites incur a charge to the seller, this in turn can cause higher prices. Therefore, we often prefer to sell directly from our site so that Stuff ‘n’ Junque is able to offer competitive pricing as well as a first-come-first-served policy, which is usually much nicer than fighting for something you really want.

How frequently do you update your site? Are the items listed really available?

Stuff 'n' Junque makes every attempt to keep our listings as fresh as possible at all times. When an item is sold, it is immediately removed from the site.

We do have a first-come-first-served policy, which means that if two people inquire about the same product, the first person to inquire will be first allowed to buy it. We do not allow for bidding wars, and we do not offer different prices to different people inquiring in the same time period. There may be no marker indicating this, but we will let you know if another buyer is currently considering the item. If the first person to inquire chooses not to purchase the item, we will e-mail you to let you know that you have been moved up to first inquirer status.

If an item is in the process of being sold, you will see a red "sale pending" marker next to that item. These markers are put up to hold an item only if the buyer is serious in their offer. If a sale agreement has been reached and we do not receive payment within a reasonable period of time, the marker will be removed and the item will be made available to other buyers.

If you request an item that for some reason cannot be located in our extensive stock, we will notify you and remove the item from the site immediately. Should the item then be located within a reasonable period, we will let you know without re-listing it to the public so that you have the opportunity to purchase it first.

What is your privacy policy?

Stuff ‘n’ Junque does not collect or keep names, e-mails, addresses, phone numbers or any other contact information of any customer or inquirer to our site for any reason other than record keeping. We do not sell any contact information to any outside source. Your e-mail address will not be used by us without your express permission, such as if you should wish to be contacted about an item in future.

No one from this site will ask you for any personal information other than zip code until a sale agreement has been reached. Upon reaching the sale agreement, you will be asked for your name and shipping address only. This information will be used only for the individual sale, and is not stored for further use outside of record keeping.

Stuff ‘n’ Junque asks that you do not send any credit or debit card information to us via any means. Any such information will be discarded immediately, and any pending order will be put on hold until appropriate payment is received.
